Classical South India Tour taking you around popular tourist destinations in peninsular India - Karnataka, very popular tourist location Goa and return from Mumbai.

Day 01: Arrive Bangalore

On arrival in Bangalore, meeting and assistance by our airport representative followed by transfer to hotel. 

Overnight stay at hotel in Bangalore. 

Day 02: Bangalore/Mysore ( 140 kms – 4 hours)

After breakfast half day tour of Bangalore, visit Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, a two-story ornately carved building. Also visit Lalbagh Botanical Gardens originally laid out in 1760 by Haidar Ali and later expanded by Tipu Sultan.

Driver past Vidhan Soudha a spectacular post Independence government building which houses both the State Legislature and Secretariat. Afternoon driver to Mysore, en-route brief stop at Srirangapatnam, an easily fortified island site in the Kaveri River.

Continue drive to Mysore. on arrival check in at hotel.

Day 03: Mysore

After breakfast proceed for full day city tour of Mysore Palace - include the colourful vegetable and flower markets in Mysore, Chamundi Hill to view the Chamundeswari Temple and the famous Nandi Bull. The City Palace was re-built by Henry Irwin in 1897 after the original wooden palace was destroyed in a fire.

Day 04: Mysore – Coorg ( 110 Kms/3 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Coorg, upon arrival check in at the hotel. Later enjoy the guided tour of the 300 acre working coffee and spice plantation on foot.

Day 05: Coorg

After breakfast enjoy visit to Dubare Elephant Camp, learn all about the birds and the beasts, and understand how each tree has a story to tell. Listen to jungle lore under a canopy of multi-hued green.

Later, enjoy Coracles are local fishing crafts that are circular and ideal for navigating these waters.

Day 06: Coorg – Hassan ( 120 Kms/3 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Hassan. On arrival check in to hotel.

Later visit the famous Hoysala temples of “Belur & Halebid”. The 12th century temples stands the most beautiful for sculptures when compared to any other temples in south India.

Day 07: Hassan – Hospet ( 310 Kms/ 7 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Hospet. On arrival check-in at hotel.

Day 08: Hospet

After breakfast start the day excursion to HAMPI, the seat of the famed VIJAYANAGARA Empire was the capital of the largest empire in post-mogul India, covering several states. The ruins of Hampi of the 14th Century lie scattered in about 26 sq. km area, amidst giant boulders and vegetation and silently narrate the story of grandeur splendor and fabulous wealth.

Day 09: Hospet – Badami ( 140 Kms/3 hours)

Morning drive to Badami. on arrival check in at hotel in Badami.

Afternoon, proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Badami. The town, formerly known as Vatapi, is located in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka state. Founded by Pulakesin I of the Chalukya dynasty, the town is located at the foot of a red sandstone protrusion that surrounds the Agastya tirtha water reservoir on three sides.

Day 10: Badami

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of ‘AIHOLE & PATTADAKAL’. ‘Pattadakal’ was the second capital of the mighty Chalukyans and a place that hosted important state functions of the time. It is also a centre of Chalukyan architectural extravaganza. There are many temples here, mostly dating back to 6th and 7th centuries AD. ‘Aihole’ completes the third dimension of Chalukyan architectural centers.

Day 11: Badami – Goa (290 Kms/ 7 hours)

After breakfast drive to Goa. On arrival check in at the hotel.  Rest of the day at leisure.

Full day free at leisure to relax on the beach.

After breakfast drive to Goa airport to connect flight for Mumbai and then connect International flight for onward destination.
