Day 1: Arrive in Mumbai Welcome to Mumbai, on arrival at Mumbai airport you are traditionally welcomed and our tour representative transfers you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Mumbai, the dynamic city, is the capital of Maharashtra, combinations of seven Islands. Mumbai is a multicultural metropolis with a colorful history. This vibrant city is now India’s premier financial City and Economic power house of India; it’s also a major Center of Arts and Film Industry. Mumbai, a city that never sleeps, where every night seems like a festival night. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Mumbai This morning’s sightseeing includes Getaway of India Getaway of India the Gateway of India, Remembrance of the visit of King George V and Queen Mary. Then, drive along Marine Drive, a seafront promenade, and see a traditional Dhobi Ghat. You will also visit the Hanging Garden, on the top of the three water Reservoirs, at Malabar Hill and Tarapore Aquarium, collection of various types Fish. Later visits Elephants Caves situated on a small Island and Mani Bhawan, former residence of Mahatma Gandhi, and the Mumbai Museum. In the evening visit Juhu Beach and enjoy most famous “Bhel Puri” in the late night. Return to your hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 3: Mumbai – Cochin. This morning fly to Kochi or Cochin is a tourist’s paradise. Lush mangroves, coconut tress reflected in the translucent waters of backwaters, ancient churches, cathedrals and fort. Kochi is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly picturesque and prosperous state of Kerala, known as ‘God’s Own Country’. Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala ,a lovely seaside city is flanked by the Western Ghats on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west. On arrival check in hotel.
Day 4: Cochin Your city tour includes the Cochin Fort is the oldest European settlement in India and the Chinese fishing nets that are the livelihood of many fishermen in the area. You will also see the India’s oldest European built Church of St Francis. Later visit the Dutch Palace (closed Fridays), Jew Town with it old curios shops and the more than 400 year old synagogue. Other place to visit the famed Mattancherry Palace and The splendid Bolghatty Palace is located on the Bolghatty Islands. This afternoon, enjoy an unforgettable cruise on the backwaters of Kerala. Explore and witness local life along these serene waterways surrounded by lush palm trees and paddy fields. Evening enjoy a performance of traditional Kathakali dance drama. Day 5 Cochin-Delhi Today, fly to Delhi, India’s capital city. Delhi, which has great example of architectural monuments and a unique history of blending itself with several different cultures and religions. There are a lot of attractions in Old & New Delhi includes temples, mosques and some world heritage sites. This city is a great combination of new and old from cannaught place to Chandni Chowk, Which is a great shopping paradise. On arrival check in hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Day 6: Delhi This morning, tour the sights of “Old Delhi.” Red Fort,Delhi Red Fort Start with GHANDI BHAWAN, Red Fort – Delhi’s most magnificent monument, the Red Fort, was built by Emperor Shah Jahan, in 1638 A.D. and enjoy Cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk a colorful local bazaar. This afternoon your sightseeing focuses on “New Delhi.” Drive past the India Gate, the majestic 42 meters high arch was built as a memorial to the Indian soldiers killed in the World War and the President’s House before visiting HUMAYUN’S TOMB .Later visits the Qutub Minar made of red sandstone rising to the height of 72.5mts is an architectural marvel of the 13th century and Akshardham Temple – Newly constructed temple of Swani Narayan Trust. Overnight stay will be at Delhi.
Day 7: Delhi A full day at your leisure to explore the city. You can visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. A drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing the President’s Residence .Also visit Birla temple – known as Laxmi Narayan temple & Iskcon Temple. Afternoon go to Connaught Place shopping centre. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Delhi-Agra Today, drive to Agra, the city of seventh wonder on the earth is situated on the banks of Yamuna River. Agra is a historical and romantic city of India, famous for its beautiful architectural monuments and soft stone work such as jewellery and embroidery work. Agra, where much of the city’s impressive past is still evident today in the majesty of her buildings. On arrival check in hotel. This afternoon, visit one of the seventh wonder of the world TAJ MAHAL (closed Fridays), an extravagant marble monument to love built by the Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in memorial to his beloved wife. To add to this memorable experience, you’ll travel by Tongas (horse carriage) during your visit. Later, visit the impressive AGRA FORT, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the Moghul Emperor Akbar, this beautiful fortress of red sandstone conceals the imperial city of the Moghul rulers and its many palaces.
Day 9: Agra A full day at your leisure. Today we will visit Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb or Baby Taj – The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj. Later visit Mehtab Bagh, which means Moonlight Garden, Dayal Bagh, a well-known pilgrimage site in Agra. Also visit Chini Ka Roza,the tomb of Afzal Khan and Mankameshwar Mandir ,one of the ancient temples devoted to Lord Shiva.Later you can explore the local bazaar of Agra filled with lather, soft stone work jewellery and embroidery work. Evening return to see the Taj Mahal again, and watch as the light dances off the crisp white marble.
Day 10: Agra – Jaipur This morning Pench Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri Pench Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri visit Fatehpur Sikri also known as the City of Victory constructed by Mughal emperor Akbar .This beautiful village is one of the best preserved ensembles of magnificent buildings in the Mughal architecture in India included several royal palaces, a harem, courts and a mosque, which are referred as the UNESCO world heritage. Place to visit like Buland Darwaza, Hall of Audience and the stunning Panch Mahal etc. After visiting the Sikri, if you are bird lover then you can take next stop at world famous the KEOLADEO GHANA BIRD SANTUARY, home to more than 370 species of birds, there is a large Varity of flora and fauna. Nesting indigenous water- birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar. Now move to Jaipur, the glistening “Pink City” because of the colour of the stone used exclusively in the walled city. This fascinating city with its romantic charm takes you to an epoch of royalty and tradition. Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan is famous for its culture, broad avenues and spacious gardens. The bustling bazaars of Jaipur, famous for Rajasthani jewellery, fabric and shoes, possess a timeless quality and are surely a treasure-trove for the shoppers. On arrival check in hotel. Day 11: Jaipur After breakfast you leave for an excursion trip to the amazing Amer Fort, a specimen of Rajput architecture. A Joy ride on elephants back up to the Fort is real fun. Also visits the Jai Mandir (Hall of Victory) is so delicately ornamented with find inlay work that it glows and Jaighar Fort, crowing the summit of a peak is of amazing beauty and grandeur. After lunch at any restaurant, visit the City Palace and the adjoining museum that houses a collection of rare manuscripts. Also stop at the famous Hawa Mamal (Palace of the Winds) and Jantar Mantar and take a Walking tour through a local market. In the evening join the arti puja at Birla Temple illuminated with light. Day 12: Jaipur – Delhi Your vacation ends with a drive back to Delhi.
