Day 1: Delhi Welcome to Incredible India! As soon as you arrive at the capital of India Delhi, you are heartily welcomed with the fragrances of flowers by Carmel India Tours representative; from there you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay in hotel and enjoy the delicious meal.
Day 2: Full private car sightseeing After having breakfast, your morning will be dedicated to sightseeing of old and new Delhi that represent India’s history. Enjoy this Delhi tour by your private car to the Lotus Temple which represents the equality of all religions, India gate, a massive 42 meter high structure, Red Fort was established in the year 1639 by Shah Jahan. The eye-catching Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India; Qutub Minar the fabulous tower of victory. If time allows then also visit Humanyu’sTomb, Raj Ghat, the President’s House, Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings also shop in the local market of Chandni Chowk.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra This morning Travel to Agra by car and check in to your hotel, Have your breakfast and then proceed towards sightseeing, a historical and romantic city of medieval India, situated 200 km south of New Delhi, on the banks of river Yamuna. Explore this romantic city with the greatest monument of love Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 to enshrine the mortal remains of his Queen Mumtaz Mahal. The Marvellous place of Agra, Agra Fort containing the Royal residential palaces, the Halls of Public and Private Audience and beautiful gardens. Evening and night are at your leisure. Sleep comfortably at the hotel.
Day 4: Agra – Jaipur In this morning, leave for Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route. A beautiful village is full of spiritual atmosphere and world heritage monuments. This magnificent ghost city was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and became the capital of Mughal India for 15 years before it was left due to scarcity of water. It a tomb, constructed by Akbar and dedicated to the Sufi Saint Salim Chisti. Worth visiting are the Jama Masjid, Salim Chisti’s tomb, the Diwan- i-Aam, the Diwan- i- Khas and the Queen’s palaces within the city. Arrive in Jaipur and check in to your hotel.
Day 5: Explore Jaipur After breakfast explore the pink city to enjoy and witness these historical monuments and the way of living of the royal Rajputana rulers. The Amer fort in Jaipur is a classic example of this Rajputana heritage and it stands towards the entrance of the city. Amer being the home of the rulers, there are also the seasonal palaces such as the Jal Mahal and the Hawa Mahal to be witnessed. “Hawa Mahal” literally translating to the “Windy Palace” was a recreational home for the rulers while the “Water Palace” or “Jal Mahal” was the summer palace for them. The Jal Mahal is surrounded by water on all sides and you are taken to the palace on a boat, making you experience the royalty of the age. Enjoy a rickshaw ride and time to do some shopping here in the “Pink City.”
Day 6: Return to Delhi Early in the morning, depart for New Delhi. This is the end of the tour. After arriving in Delhi, check in to your hotel. Memories of this long journey will remain in your memory. You can stay at the hotel or you can explore Shakti Sthal, Purana Qila, fabulous eating places and bustling markets etc.
Day 7: Depart Delhi After having breakfast checkout of the hotel for transfer to Delhi airport or railway station for your onward journey. End of the tour & journey.
